GETTING TO KNOW: ROMAIN BOISSINOT

Romain is from France and attended Northwest Missouri State University where he pursued his collegiate career. He is one of our coaches at our Fairfield location in Fairfield, CT and has been part of the club for two years.
Q: What age group do you prefer to work with?
A: I’ll work with pretty much anyone, I don’t really have a preference. I can work with individuals as young as 4 to players as old at 70!
Q: What is one thing you love about this sport?
A: I think mainly that it’s a game where you can get a workout in and play with. As far as like running or swimming, you get a workout in, but there’s not a game aspect in it. Getting the fun and the workout with tennis is my favorite thing
Q: Is there anything significant about your tennis past that you want to share?
A: I came here from France, came here and played college tennis, got a master’s degree, began coaching a college team, and then I came here to coach in the club
Q: Outside of tennis do you have a favorite local restaurant or bar that you like to go to?
A: I love to go to Evaritos in Norwalk, it has a rooftop and it’s a nice place to go to
